Jalandhar June 27(Talwinder Singh)-Deputy Commissioner Jalandhar Mr. Varinder Kumar Sharma today asked the Revenue officers to evolve a viable mechanism for facilitating the people by resolving the pending cases regarding division of property at the earliest. Presiding over the monthly review meeting here at District Administrative Complex today, the Deputy Commissioner said that the Revenue officers must ensure that there was minimum pendency in such cases, so as to avoid any sort of inconvenience to the people. He said that those cases where all the stakeholders have already given their assent for such mutual divisions must be disposed off on top priority. Mr. Sharma said that any sort of laxity on part of the officers in this regard would not be tolerated at any cost. Dwelling on another issue, the Deputy Commissioner also asked all the Officers to ensure timely submission of reports sought from them. He said that all the officers should ensure that the reports reach his office in the prescribed format within the stipulated time frame. Mr. Sharma also asked the officers to expedite the process of recovery of loans from the defaulters. Prominent amongst other present on the occasion included Assistant Commissioner General Dr Ankur Mahendru, Sub Divisional Magistrates Mr. Subash Sharma, Mr. Varinder Pal Singh Bajwa, Ms. Navneet Kaur Bal and Mr. Rajiv Verma besides several other officers of Revenue department.
