7-day NSS Camp concluded at HMV

Jalandhar January 1 (Jaswinder Azad)- The seven day NSS Camp organized at Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya concluded under the able guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen congratulated the NSS unit of the college for the successful completion of the camp. She further said that NSS helps students to work for the goodwill of the society and helps them to become a responsible citizen. On this occasion, Mrs. Kuljit Kaur, Former NSS Coordinator said that the main motive of NSS is to encourage youth to work for the welfare of the society. The purpose is to utilize the energy of youngsters for the betterment and upliftment of the nation. Mr. Jagjit Bhatia, Incharge Multimedia department laid stress on the positive use of social media and he also told the volunteers about cyber crime.
On this occasion, Poem Recitation and Speech competition was also organized. Students also made wonderful things using waste material. Volunteers also shared their experiences. Programme Coordinator Dr. Anjana Bhatia and Mrs. Veena Arora also motivated the students and congratulated the winners for their performance. They also congratulated the students who won prizes in different activities held during the camp. The programme ended with National Anthem.
