An Articulation Agreement between Royal Roads University Canada and St. Soldier Group of Institutions, India

Jalandhar January 9 (Gurkirat Singh)- Offering an another opportunity for the students of Punjab, the leading educational group of Jalandhar St. Soldier Group of Institutions have signed an Memorandum of Agreement with the Canada’s renowned state university, Royal Roads University. The MoU was signed jointly by Prince Chopra Pro-Chairman of St. Soldier Group of Institutions and Ms. Tasha Welsh, Director International, Royal Roads, University, Victoria, BC, Canada in the presence of Chairman Anil Chopra, Vice-Chairperson Sangeeta Chopra, Managing Director Manhar Arora, Head Admissions, RRU, Ms. Trish Glab, Director, Zachariah Samuel, Vice-President Dinesh Narayan. While addressing the media persons, Chairman Anil Chopra told that “St. Soldier Group of Institutions has always remained pioneer in extending opportunities for the students of this region. Seeing the trend of students willing to study in Canada, we have started Canada Pathway Programs with Royal Roads University for Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Hotel Management and catering Technology in which students can start study in India and can complete in Canada.” Further Prince Chopra added that According to this memorandum of understanding constitutes an agreement between Royal Roads University (RRU) and St. Soldier Group of Institutions. The participating units at the respective institutions are the Faculty of Management at RRU and the following divisions at St. Soldier Group of Institutions: Management and Technology; and Hotel Management and Catering Technology. Ms. Tasha Welsh said to media persons that RRU agrees to facilitate the block transfer of students from St. Soldier Group of Institutions with appropriate prerequisite qualifications into the third year of any of the following degree programs at RRU:
Bachelor of Arts in Global Tourism Management (BAGTM),
Bachelor of Arts in International Hotel Management (BAIHM),
Bachelor of Business Administration in Business and Sustainability (BBA).
While informing the media persons Manhar Arora said “This is an articulating agreement in which student can take credit of their study in St. Soldier Group of Institutions to Royal Roads University. They can complete two years in India and two Years in Canada. Participating students of this program will receive degree from Royal Roads, University, Canada thus saving two years Canadian Fee in dollars and shall receive University degree instead of college diplomas.
