Apeejay Excels In 4th National Literary Festival Abhivyakti 2018

Jalandhar October 15 (Jaswinder Azad)- Talented and artistically endowed students of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar made their alma mater proud by excelling in Abhivyakti-2018, 4th National Literary Festival organized by Chandigarh University, Chandigarh at Gharuan on 13-14 October 2018. Apeejay students made their mark of excellence in 7 competitions out of 12 events organised during literary fest in which 3200 students from 262 institutes, mostly universities participated.
Apeejayites got trophies and cash prizes by bagging positions in various events. They got second prize in Wordstroke alongwith a cash prize of Rs.2,100/-. They got 3rd prize in Quizzical Suspects, 3rd prize in Anchor Hunt and 3rd prize in Poetry. Besides this, they won Consolation Prizes in competitions such as Group Debate, Story Telling and Elocution. All students received participation certificates.
While congratulating the jubilant winners and participants, Principal Dr. Sucharita said that with this achievement Apeejayites have again proven that they are a cut above the rest. Addressing the students, she said that it is a moment of triumph for Apeejay and this victory will motivate the winners to aspire for greater things in life. She lauded the efforts of teachers in-charge of literary team Mr. Vishav Bandhu Verma, Dr. Navjot Deol, Ms. Jaspreet Kaur and Ms. Harpreet Kaur.
