Jalandhar October 17 (Jaswinder Azad)- Around 55 students of Lyallpur Khalsa College donated blood in a blood donation camp organised by the youth club of the college in collaboration with Red Ribbon club. Padmashree Bahadur Singh S.P. and Sports Secretary PP inaugurated the event and lauded students for their zealous participation in the camp. In his message to the students the College Principal Dr G.S. Samra said that there were many misconceptions about blood donation in society which needed to be cleared in order to promote blood donation. He urged the students to play an active role in this regard. The coordinator of the event Dr. Tarsem Singh presented the vote of thanks. He informed the press that this was the fourth year this camp was organised in continuity and each time the number of donors had grown higher. On the occasion Prof. Jasreen Kaur Dean Academic Affairs, Prof. Jaswinder Kaur, Prof. Navdeep Kaur, Dr. Simranjeet Singh Bains, Prof. Hariom Verma, Dr. Arun Dev Sharma, Prof. Ubique, Prof. Gagandeep Singh, Prof. Ratnakar Mann, Prof. Satpal Singh, Dr. Navneet Singh, Prof. Amandeep Kaur, Dr. Priyank, Dr. Dinkar Sharma, Prof. Gagandeep Kaur, Prof. Upma Arora, Prof. Sonu Gupta were also present on the occasion.
