Cambridge University Press CMD confers degrees on 1200 students at 6th Convocation of CT Group

Jalandhar November 10 (Jaswinder Azad)- As the graduates filled the room, the excitement was palpable and the spirit was strong. This cheerful and heartwarming scenario was witnessed at 6th Convocation of CT Group of Institutions. As many as 1200 postgraduates and graduates of 2015, 2016, 2017 & 2018 passed out batches were awarded degrees in a convocation ceremony organized in Sardarni Manjit Kaur Auditorium, CT Shahpur Campus.
The Chief Guest for the occasion was Ratnesh Jha, CMD, Cambridge University Press, Asia Pacific. He delivered the Convocation Address.
In his address, Ratnesh Jha shared the tale of his success and stressed on the introduction of new technology. He said, “I congratulate all the degree holders today as it’s the reward of their hard work and sincerity during their college days. I just want to tell all the students that after stepping out today from the premises, you must go back and calmly understand yourself and the importance of what and why of your life. You should be clear of what you want from life now and why you want that. These two things will definitely take you to the pinnacle of success. And also, I would like to advice that you must follow the mantra of “Never Say No” attitude and gain as much experience as you can with this approach.”
The welcome speech was delivered by Campus Director Dr. GS Kalra and the convocation was declared opened by Chairman Charanjit S Channi. The entire convocation was organised by Dean Academics Dr. Anupam Deep Sharma.
At the convocation, 250 Post graduate and 950 under graduate students of Pharmacy, Hospitality, Engineering and other streams were honoured.
Dr. GS Kalra, Campus Director said, “My experiences prompt me to say that today’s achievement may fade or even forgotten. The applause and appreciation may become a distant memory. Your certificates and medals may gather dust on a shelf or displayed on the wall. But you always will be remembered for caring enough, for helping someone, for making someone feel special and appreciated for being the kind I have no doubt that you will get the very best in life.”
Charanjit Singh Channi, Chairman thanked the Chief Guest, Honorable Ratnesh Jha for accepting to grace this day with his presence.
On this occasion, Managing Director Manbir Singh, Vice Chairman Harpreet Singh, CT University Vice Chancellor Dr. Harsh Sadawarti, Maqsudan Campus Director Dr. Jasdeep Kaur Dhami etc were present along with the faculty of CT Group of Institutions.
Following the convocation ceremony, an Alumni Meet was also organized for the students. The talented students of the current batch of the university presented an entertaining cultural programme for the alumni and their family members.
