CM announces financial assistance worth Rs 50,000 to family of child drowned near Sri Sidh Baba Sodal temple

ADC hands over cheque to aggrieved family members
Jalandhar 24 September (Jaswinder Azad)- In a healing touch the Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh today announced a financial assistance of Rs 50000 to the family members of an eight old girl, who died after drowning near local Sri Sidh Baba Sidal temple late last night.
The Chief Minister directed the Deputy Commissioner Mr Varinder Kumar Sharma to immediately extend a helping hand to the hapless family members. Following the directions, the Additional Deputy Commissioner Mr Jasbir Singh today handed over a cheque worth Rs 50000 as Financial assistance from District Red Cross Society to Mr Mohinder the father and Mrs Sangeeta the mother of the deceased. Sharing the condolences, the Additional Deputy Commissioner said that it was an irreparable loss for the entire family. Mr Jasbir Singh prayed to the Almighty to grant eternal peace to departed soul and strength to the family members to bear this huge loss. On the occasion, Sub Divisional Magistrate Mr Sanjeev Sharma, PPS officer Ms Heena Gupta and others were also present.
