Commissioner of Police supports plantation drive at CT Group

Jalandhar 24 September (Jaswinder Azad)- As a part of NSS activity, CT Institute of Hotel Management organized a tree plantation drive at its Shahpur campus. In this drive, the students of Hotel Management planted different varieties of saplings like Mango, Amla, Neem etc. The drive was inaugurated by Commissioner of Police Parveen Kumar Sinha by planting a sapling. He appreciated the students for organizing this environment friendly activity and briefed them about the importance of planting trees in our daily life.
During this drive, more than 200 saplings were planted across the CT Group campus. Dr Bharat Kapoor, Director CTIHM said that besides keeping our surroundings clean, we motivate our students to promote green India as well and for this, we regularly conduct such activities that would promote Clean India, Green India. Charanjit Singh Channi, Chairman, Manbir Singh, Managing Director and Harpreet Singh, Vice Chairman, CT Group of Institutions also motivated the students for organizing this activity.
