CT Group gets selected under UBA flagship program of MHRD
Jalandhar 11 September (Jaswinder Azad)- CT Group of Institutions, Shahpur campus has been selected under Unnat Bharat Abhiyan 2.0 (UBA), a flagship program of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD). As per Guidelines given, CT Group, Shahpur has adopted cluster of 5 villages of Jalandhar District, namely Fathepur, Lambri, Udhopur, Partapura and Barsad.
The team of CT Shahpur carried out Nukkad Naatak on Drug Awareness and Saplings were also planted in the Government School, Fathepur. Volunteers of CT Institute of Architecture and Planning participated in planting the saplings. Nukkad Naatak was performed by students of CT Institute of Higher Studies. Students enacted upon the stories of the victims, pathetic conditioning of the families of the victims and society, gripped with the problem of drug abuse.
Shruti Kapur, HOD, CT Institute of Architecture and Planning said that when students and staff watched the play, they instantly correlated with the issues, also understood the gravity of it and came forward in seeking ways of getting liberated from the trap of addiction.
Manbir Singh, Managing Director appreciated the efforts of the department and motivated them to perform whole-heartedly for this ambitious project.
