CT Group organizes Kids Got Talent

• Kulraj bags first position in dance & Rishika in singing at Kids Got Talent
• 64 kids take part in finale of Kids Got Talent at CT
Jalandhar May 18 (Jaswinder Azad)- Known for providing a wonderful platform for budding talent, CT Group of Institutions organized the finale of Kids Got Talent today in Sardarni Manjit Kaur Auditorium, Shahpur campus. 147 contestants gave the auditions last week out of which 64 finalists competed today in various categories like dance, singing, fashion show, fancy dress and martial arts. The event was divided into three categories like 3-6 years, 6-9 years and 9-12 years of age.
The event was inaugurated with the light lamp ceremony conducted by Campus Director Dr. GS Kalra, Dean Academics Dr. Anupamdeep Sharma, CT World School Principal Madhu Sharma, Kamaljeet Singh from LG and Cultural Officer Davinder Singh.
The judges for the finale remained from music and entertainment industry namely Paramjit Singh, Sonika Chauhan, Vikas Mongia and Rajinder Singh Sohal. The contestants hailed from various cities of Punjab like Ludhiana, Hoshiarpur, Phagwara, Kapurthala and Jalandhar etc.
After judging the performances, Kulraj Sharma bagged first position in dance (age 3-6 years); Dhawani stood second; under age 6-9 years, Rishab Sharma stood first and Surleen stood second whereas under age category 9-12 years, Harsimar Kaur bagged first position and Aditya stood second. Competing against each other in singing, under 6-9 years, Rishika stood first and Hartej bagged second position. In martial arts, under 6-9 years, Baljot Singh stood first and Gurvir and Angad stood second. Under fancy dress competition, Alyana Verma and Harshaan Singh stood first and second under 3-6 years category whereas Prataksh and Smiley stood first and second in 6-9 years category. The event was supported by Sanjay Karate, LG and Wonderland.
