Bonding time for seniors and freshers of CT Group
Jalandhar October 1 (Jaswinder Azad)- It was the moment full of fun and frolic when the freshmen of CT Group of Institutions were introduced to their seniors in fresher parties organised by various departments. CT Institute of Higher Studies organised a welcome party “Novato Fiesta-2018” for the freshers. Aarti of BA (J&MC)-I and Dilsimer of BBA-I was adjudged Ms. Fresher and Mr. Fresher respectively. Niveta Dhingra of BA (J&MC)-I and Ribhav Dhawan of BA (J&MC)-I was adjudged Ms. Charming and Mr. Handsome.
The ramp walk was a spectacular event in which the girls displayed poise, elegance, style and confidence. The boys too impressed the audience with their wit, style, exuberance and positive attitude in the Question-Answer round.
Students of Engineering B.Tech. & M.Tech. 2nd year gave a warm welcome to their juniors. Jovial smiles and high spirits marked the party for freshers. Party commenced with some great performances like solo singing, rapping, duet song performance, enthusiastic solo and duet dance performances and a hilarious skit about experience of college life.
Mr. and Ms. Fresher contest was the highlight of the event. All the contestants had their own style and panache. Mr. Sahilpreet Singh Bhangu and Ms. Diksha were chosen as Mr. Fresher & Ms. Fresher, respectively.
CT Institute of Hotel management & Catering Technology, Maqsudan organized Musical Theme based Party to enlighten the fresher of Hotel Management and Tourism about the skill required to organize theme based party. The event entered into a joyous state with the events like Bollywood magic from 90’s to 2017, Charlie’s Chaplin, Tribute to Govinda, Fashion ke Jalwe, Nagara, Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar and Mr. & Miss Bollywood.
About 600 students of B.Tech.(CTIEMT/ CTIT) and Diploma (CTPC) participated in the fresher party titled Aaghaz 2018. Preeti Saroop Kaur of B.Tech –IT bagged the title of Ms. Fresher and Ashish Sepla of B.Tech ME clinched the title of Mr. Fresher.
The event was graced by the presence of Charanjit Singh Channi, Chairman, Parminder Kaur Channi, Co Chairperson, Seerat Singh, Dr. G.S Kalra and Dr. Jasdeep Kaur Dhami, Campus Directors, Dr. Kuldeep Grewal, Director (GNDU Colleges), Dr. Seema Arora, Principal (CTIHS), Ms. Saravjit Kaur, HOD (CTIHS) other dignitaries and team members.
Charanjit Singh Channi, Chairman, CT Group congratulated the winners and also applauded the endeavors put in by the senior students and also welcomed the new students by wishing them a good luck.
