CT students outshine in Youth Festivals

CT students bag 5 Gold, 4 silver and 2 Bronze in IKG-PTU Zonal Youth Fest 2018
CTIHS student bag first position in Photography at GNDU Inter Zonal Youth Fest

Jalandhar November 16 (Gurkirat Singh)- The past few days have been full of glory for CT Group of Institutions as the students have bagged numerous awards in the IKG- Punjab Technical University and Guru Nanak Dev University’s Youth Festivals held lately.
After practicing for days and nights under the guidance of Davinder Singh, Cultural Officer, the students have bagged 5 Gold medals, four silver medals and two bronze in IKG-PTU Zonal Youth Festivals 2018 and fetched the first Runners Up Trophy too. They have managed to bag Gold medals in Mime, Western Group Song, Mimicry, Vaar Singing and Story Telling, whereas silver in One Act Play, Western Solo Song, Indian Group Song and Mehndi and bronze in Skit and Poster making events.
Varsha, one of the participants of western solo song said, “It has been a wonderful learning experience for us to have participated in this competitive event. The experience will last forever in our life diaries.”
Not only this, one student of CT Institute of Higher Studies named Lovely Yadav, a Journalism student bagged first position in Photography event at GNDU Inter Zonal Youth Festival 2018. On his achievement he said, “Photography has always been my passion and the college has showed trust on me and made me participate in this competitive event.”
Chairman Charanjit S Channi congratulated all the winners for their outstanding performances and wished them luck for their future endeavors as well.
