Jalandhar November 22 (Jaswinder Azad)- The Department of Sociology organized an Elocution Competition under the vibrant directions of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. Miss Nandini Budhia, Asstt. Prof. in Sociology and Incharge of the event extended a green welcome to the judges Dr. Ramnita Saini Sharda, Dean Innovative Practices, Mrs. Lovleen Kaur, Asstt. Prof. in English and Mrs. Pawan Kumari, Asstt. Prof. in Hindi. Around 30 exuberant students participatd in the competition and presented their views on topics ranging from environment, social media to ‘Me Too’ campaign. The first position was won by Ms. Rupam Prashar, the second position was bagged by Ms. Pallavi and Mrs. Disha Kumari. Ms. Bhavya Midha stood third and Ms. Radhika Verma received consolation prize. Addressing the students Dr. Ramnita elaborated upon the different topics of the competition. She felt elated that the students expressed their views without hesitation. Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen congratulated the event incharge for the well organized event. She motivated as well as appreciated the students for their enthusiastic participation in the event. Winners were honoured with certificates. Towards the end, Ms. Nandini Budhia gave a vote of thanks. The stage was hosted by Ms. Manpreet Kaur, Ms. Priyanka Marwaha and Ms. Ms. Harmanjit Kaur.
