Girls of KMV bags trophy of Masterminds at CT Group, wins Rs. 5100

MGN Adarsh Nagar stands second and BSF Senior Secondary third
Jalandhar October 9 (Jaswinder Azad)- The girls of KMV Collegiate, XII standard outshined by giving quick replies in the Masterminds, an inter-school quiz competition held today at CT Group of Institutions, Maqsudan campus. Out of total 21 teams, MGN Public School, Adarsh Nagar stood second and team of BSF Senior Secondary School stood third. Other teams from various schools namely Trinity Collegiate, St. Thomas School, CT Public School, Guru Amardas Public School, Lawrence International School participated.
The winning teams were also honored with cash prizes of Rs. 5100, Rs. 3100 and Rs. 2100. The quiz master Kumar Sambhav conducted the quiz successfully by dividing it into various rounds. All teams participated in prelims round, of which 5 teams managed to play for finals. The final round was surrounded by different fields like Science, Technology, Business, Sports, Entertainment and rapid fire round.
Navroz Kaur, one of the team members who stood first said that the quiz competition was quite challenging as the rounds were tough and required much intelligence and witty mind.
Kumar Sambhav, the quiz master who has conducted many quizzes at national level said, “The teams were quite intelligent but then quiz requires smart and intelligent candidates who can easily understand the twisted questions. The quiz was being set looking after the syllabi of the students.”
Dr. Jasdeep Kaur Dhami, Campus Director said that these literary and academic activities must be regularly organized in order to boost the spirits of the young blood.
Manbir Singh, Managing Director, CT Group of Institutions congratulated all the winners and wished them luck for their future endeavors.
