Jalandhar January 9 (Jaswinder Azad)- Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen undertook yet another ground breaking social outreach endeavour and collaborated with ASER Survey to measure the learning gaps of elementary students. The report of this survey is recognized by WHO as a scale of learning outcomes of elementary students. NSS volunteers from HMV participated in ASER survey under the guidance of nodal officer Dr Anjana Bhatia. 60 NSS volunteers covered 19 villages of Kapurthala district. ASER survey is the largest citizen led survey of India. Students went door to door and collected information regarding learning standards of primary students. Programme Officer Mrs. Veena arora, Dr. Anjana Bhatia and Dr. Ramnita Saini Sharda were also present. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen appreciated the efforts of NSS volunteers.
