HMV Collegiate School students brought laurels in International English Olympiad

Jalandhar February 10 (Jaswinder Azad)- The students of HMV Collegiate Sr. Sec. School won laurels in 9th SOF, International English Olympiad. 100 students of SSC I and SSC II participated in first level examination. In this competition, Tarunika Rampal of SSC I Arts bagged first position and got gold medal. Gurnaaj Kaur Sandhu of SSC I Arts and Tanya Khurana of SSC I Arts won silver medal and bronze medal respectively. Students from Commerce stream namely Sugandhi Behl SSC I Commerce won gold medal by winning first position. Jasmeet Kaur got silver and Kritika Sharma got bronze medal. Kritagyta of SSC II Arts bagged gold medal, Dhritika won silver medal and Dhreeti won bronze medal.
Principal Prof. Dr.(Mrs.) Ajay Sareen congratulated the students for their remarkable achievements. She also encouraged the winners to work with commitment to be successful in all walks of life. Two students, Tarunika Rampal, SSC I Arts and Kritagyta of SSC II Arts have qualified for the second level exam. Coordinator Mrs. Meenakshi Sayal also appreciated the efforts of the students and motivated students to participate in such competitions for their mental growth and international exposure. Mrs. Jaspreet, Lecturer in English conducted the examination.
