Jalandhar February 5 (Gurkirat Singh)- The NSS Unit of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya organised a one day workshop on “Integrated Meditation” in collaboration with “Amrita Vidyapeeth, Kerala”. The resource persons were Mr. Narinder Anand and Ms. Shweta from Amrita Vidyapeeth. NSS Unit program officers Mrs. Veena Arora and Dr. Anjana Bhatia welcomed them with planters. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen appreciated the efforts of NSS Unit and said that such workshops help students in their moral and mental growth and make them capable to live life in every situation. An MoU was also signed between HMV and Amrita Vidyapeeth for Administration linkages and Student Exchange Programmes. It was decided to organize such creative workshops for the benefit of the students. On this occasion, students Km. Shabneet and Km. Supriya shared their experience with others. The students were given knowledge through various activities. Mr. Narinder Anand and Ms. Shweta addressed the students and said that each one of us should be capable enough. We should take care of our present and should not over think about future. We should always remain cool and calm. The students were given knowledge about various Yoga exercises and Meditation.Program Officer Mrs. Veena Arora encouraged the students to follow the path of meditation. Dr. Anjana Bhatia conducted the stage and presented vote of thanks. She said that by following such yoga exercises in our life, we can live a stress free life. On this occasion, Mrs. Pawan Kumari, Ms. Harmanpreet Kaur and Mrs. Alka were also present.
