Jalandhar November 8 (Gurkirat Singh)- Students of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya added glory to the name of their institution by performing with vigour and zeal in the Zonal Youth Festival held at DAV Jalandhar from 30th October to 2nd November 2019. A total of 22 colleges participated in the festival and HMV grabbed 23 positions out of 29 events in which it participated. Our students captured first positions in Photography, Classical (NP), Installation, Elocution, Debate, Mime and Mimicry. Second Positions in Painting, Cartooning, Poster Making, Geet/Ghazal, Folk Song, Quiz, Giddha and Third positions in Clay Modelling, Classical Vocal, Collage, Phulkari, Folk Orchestra, Costume Parade, General Dance, Classical Dance and Vaar. The students gathered applause and cheers for their remarkable and mesmerising performances. Principal Prof. Dr. Mrs. Ajay Sareen said that the Youth Festivals help to hone the skills and talent of the students and instill confidence in them. She congratulated Dean Youth Welfare Mrs. Navroop, Co-Dean Mrs. Meenu Kohli, Cultural Incharge Dr. Ashmeen, Advisor Mrs. Veena Arora and the organizing team.
