HMV won 2nd Best Film Award at First Film Festival held at PTU

Surbhi of HMV got Best Actress Award
Jalandhar April 1 (Jaswinder Azad)- The students of PG Department of Mass Communication and Video Production of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya clinched two awards at the 1st Film Festival organized by PTU, Kapurthala. “Logout Zindagi”, a short film on virtual and real world got the second best film award. Through the film, students showcased the ill effects of technology. Surbhi Tandon received best actress award for the film. On this occasion, Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen congratulated the department and students. She appreciated the concept of film and encourage the students to minimize the use of mobile phones. Mrs. Rama Sharma, Head of the department also congratulated the students and appreciated their hard work. She further said that these kinds of competition provide platform to students to work hard and enhance their creative skills also. On this occasion, Asstt. Prof. Mrs. Jyoti Sehgal, Twinkle, Surbhi Tandon, NiGarima, Radhika were also present.
