Jalandhar March 24 (Jaswinder Azad)- Under the able guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen and Coordinator of Resident Scholars Mrs. Meenakshi Syal, Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya organized one day Integrated Meditation Programme for the resident scholars. Mr. Narinder and Mrs. Shweta from Amrita University, Kerala were the resource persons. They informed the students about the benefits of meditation for human beings. Further, they added meditation is necessary for attaining inner peace and to raise the mental ability. Mr.Narinder said that IAM is combination of relaxing yoga and concentration improving exercises. Practicing these exercises for 20 minutes a day, will lead to a peaceful and stress free life. Students were taught various methods of improving concentration with the help of fun games. Further, various meditation techniques were taught to the students for improving their focus in studies. On this occasion, hostel wardens Mrs. Veena and Ms. Ritika were also present.
