KMV Collegiate Sr Sec School Inducts Student Office Bearers of Department of Student Welfare

Department of Student WelfareJalandhar May 28 (Jaswinder Azad)- At KMV Collegiate Sr. Sec. School, new student office bearers of Department of Student Welfare have been inducted. Throwing more light on the Department, Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi, Principal KMV averred that this Department takes keen interest in the overall benefit and welfare of the student community. Various clubs and societies operating under the aegis of the Department of Student Welfare ensure the maximum participation of the students in their meaningful activities. Among various clubs we have Readers’ Club, Saplings of Life Club, Student Wellness Club, Red Ribbon Club and Stress Buster Club. Among various cells we have Counseling Cell, Anti-Ragging Cell, Grievances Redressel Cell and many others. The Book Bank provides the needy students free books. Student council comprises the leaders who represent their classes and work for the smooth functioning of various committees like discipline, cleanliness, hospitality etc. They are playing a pivotal role in the success of various functions of the Collegiate school. Among the teachers present on this occasion were Dr. Madhumeet, Dean, Student Welfare, Mrs. Veena Deepak, Incharge, Collegiate school, Ms Rajni Marwaha, Ms Tripti Arora, Mrs Richa Vij, Mrs Alpa Pahwa, Ms Sufalica Kalia, Ms Babita. 15 students were declared as Office Bearers under Student Welfare Department for the development and growth of students. These office bearers will help the other students and will guide them to give the solution of students’ problem under Student Welfare Department. Among student representatives selected for as the office bearers are Manraj, Aditi, Navroop, Arashpreet Kaur, Gurdev, Saniya Thakur, Ashwinder, Disha Khurana, Gurleen, Arshpreet, Sakshi, Bhavneet Kaur, Khyati, Awasthi and Isha. Madam Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated the Department of Student Welfare on this very special occasion and asked them to continue meaningful and contributory activities.
