Jalandhar May 9 (Jaswinder Azad)- Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- the Heritage & Autonomous Institution, Jalandhar’s PG Department of Psychology organized a lecture-cum workshop on ”Stress Free Living and Emotional Fitness”. The Eminent Speakers for the occasion were B.K. Meenakshi and B.K. Salil Adalakha from Prajapita Brahmakumari Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya, Mount Abu. During the lecture, the resource persons gave the practical solutions of managing stress in our daily life. They also suggested that we need to train our minds to think righteously by understanding the true and fundamental principles of living happy. A meditation session was also conducted for the faculty members and students. They gave the training to learn the art of inculcating peace and harmony in the life through the meditation session. Principal Prof.(Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that these types of programs are essential for the healthy life. She further maintained that more such programs should be organized for the uplifitment of the spiritual and emotional well being of human beings and society as a whole. She also lauded the efforts of PG Department of Psychology for organizing such meaningful and refreshing sessions. Everyone in today’s competitive world is stress ridden and such activities provide a welcome respite from worries and tensions.
