KMV School for Personality Development commences its First batch

Jalandhar 24 September (Jaswinder Azad)- Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- the Heritage and Autonomous institution, Jalandhar commenced its first batch of the School for Personality Development, comprising 100 students of B.Com. for the session 2018-19. Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi delivered the inaugural address to mark the beginning of the 21-day long Personality Development Programme. This unique school, now 10 years old, is the brainchild of the Principal madam. It was started with an aim to inculcate soft skills and good moral values in the students so that they emerge as useful citizens. the inaugural address, with its emphasis on ‘Developing Positive Attitude’ was delivered by the worthy Principal madam. Principal madam through her PowerPoint presentation, enlightened the students about the benefits of positive thinking as it will help them to live a happy, healthy and fruitful life. She also gave the students some useful tips to follow in life like introspection, meditation, remaining calm in difficult situations etc. to become a positive human being. She reiterated that by nurturing hope and allaying fears & disappointments; by aiming high for their future life; by showing the humanitarian spirit toward everyone; by boosting their self-confidence; by keeping themselves in good company; by forgiving others for their mistakes etc., students can always enrich their lives by fulfilling their aspirations. Teachers and students alike were highly motivated to stay positive after attending this spirited interactive session. Ms Seema Jain. Ms Ashoo, Ms Mani, Dr. Neeraj Maini, Ms Yasmine were also present on the occasion. Mrs Satinder Kaur extended her gratitude to the Principal madam for sparing her precious time and giving such a wonderful presentation, dotted with the anecdotes from her rich experience and wisdom accumulated over the years.
