Jalandhar December 31 (Jaswinder Azad)- Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- the Heritage & Autonomous Institution, Jalandhar’s students from different classes participated in the prestigious 143rd Sri Baba Harvallabh Sangeet Sammelan. A student of KMV named Rupali from 10+1 class participated in the festival under the junior category and also bagged third position in the competition while displaying her extraordinary talent. Student of M.A. Sem I Gurpreet Kaur made the KMV proud as she participated in the Sitar presentation under the senior category during the festival, whereas one more student of KMV named Bhupinder Kaur gave her participation in classical singing under the senior category in Harvallabh Sangeet Sammelan. It is important to mention that Harvallabh Sangeet Sammelan is one of the most prestigious music festival of India in which the musicians from all corners of the country comes to perform at one single stage. The festival is held each year at Shri Devi Talab Mandir, Jalandhar. Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated the winners and participants and averred that the students of KMV have always made the institute proud by making their presence felt at different events of national as well as international level. Madam Principal also lauded the efforts of the Music department of the KMV for motivating the students to participate in these type of festivals.
