KMV Students Plant 100 Saplings in the Green Belts of the City

KMV Maintains Green Belts in the City
Green BeltsJalandhar August 3 (Jaswinder Azad)- Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- the Heritage & Autonomous Institution, No. 1 College in India by India Today Ranking organized a plantation drive in the city including a triangle near Skylark Chowk which has been adopted by KMV. During the drive, 100 plants were planted by students and the faculty members. The drive was done in order to help reduce pollution, improve air quality and to improve the surroundings by making the environment clean and green. Principal Prof.(Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that KMV has adopted the Skylark Triangle and Divider and is also committed to its upkeep and beautification. KMV is always a trailblazer in the environment initiatives like clean green campus and surroundings areas maintained by KMV. We have carried out umpteen activities like tree plantation drives, cleanliness rallies & drives, polythene free city campaign and colossal contribution has been made to Swatch Bharat Abhiyaan by KMV. She further appreciated the students and faculty member and also motivated them to continue organizing such awareness activities which contribute significantly to the environment conservation.
