KMV’s Hindi Department organises one day Seminar

KMVJalandhar October 7 (Gurkirat Singh)- Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- the Heritage & Autonomous institution, Ranked No.1 in India by India Today Ranking’s PG Department of Hindi organised a one day seminar on “Sahit Kyun Padhe Vidyarthi”. Professor Vinay Bhardwaj from Magadh University, Bodhgaya ,Bihar was invited as keynote speaker Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi presented a floral felicitation to invited guest. In her address Madam principal highlighted the significance of reading literature in contemporary time. She also averred that literature written in any language is reflection to a person’s feelings emotions and point of view. In this materialistic age it becomes the responsibility of every student of language and literature to create awareness about importance of studying literature so that the society can relearn the humanitarian values. Professor Vinay Bhardwaj, Head, Department of Hindi Magadh University presented his views on how literature plays an important role in connecting one human being to another. Due to technological advantage humans have lost touch with moral and human values but such materialistic desires are never ending. On the other hand, the creators of literacy works are true benefactors of the society. The students gained a lot from this seminar. They interacted with the guest speaker and all their quries were satisfactorily answered. On the occasion Mrs. Seema Jain, Dr. Madhumeet , Dr. Neeraj Sharma and all other teachers of language departments were also present.
