KMV’s Kamakshi Wins Miss Jalandhar 2018 Title

Jalandhar December 28 (Jaswinder Azad)- Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- the Heritage & Autonomous Institution, Jalandhar’s Kamakshi, a student of BA(Hons.) English has won the coveted title of Miss Jalandhar 2018 during Miss and Mr Jalandhar contest. Throwing light on her achievement, Kamakshi averred that around 50 participants competed for the title during the contest organised at Jalandhar by AMADA Academy. The competition was very tough and cut-throat and the better of the best was selected as Miss Jalandhar. Principal Prof.(Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated Kamakshi for her outstanding achievement and averred that KMV the pioneer in women education has always striven to create empowered women who are confident and emancipated and Kamakshi is a specimen of such women. Kamakshi thanked Principal KMV and the faculty members of the Dept. of English for being her mentors and for always encouraging her to work hard and excel. She said that the judges for the occasion Palak Khatri Niddan, Winner season 6, Rohit Sharma, Model and Deepak Kumar, Choreographer & Salsa artist were tremendously impressed by her personality and confidence. Kamakshi further said that the credit for this goes to the KMV where she has been provided with umpteen opportunities to excel by participating in various activities. It was only here at KMV during her first year of studies where she was adjudged ”Super Mutiyaar 2018”.
