Jalandhar November 9 (Jaswinder Azad)- Continuing its yearly trend of service in social field, the staff and students of Centre for Youth Affairs and Red Ribbon Club, Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar in celebrated the festival of Diwali at Guru Nanak Orphanage Budhiana. As per the program, the staff and students of the college shared sweets and fruits with the children of the orphanage. In his address, College Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra stressed the obligation for every individual to rise above boundaries and celebrate such occasions with the underprivileged souls of our society especially children and aged people. Dr. Tarsem Singh, in-charge of the Centre for Youth Affairs and Red Ribbon Club informed that the college staff and students actively participated in this cause by contributing heavily for the products shared during this visit in addition to rendering financial assistance. Members of the club also contributed to this noble cause.
