Lyallpur Khalsa College has performed excellently in the GNDU by bagging Championship and Runners Up trophy twice

Jalandhar 26 September (Jaswinder Azad)- Lyallpur Khalsa College has performed excellently in the Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar by bagging Championship and Runners Up trophy twice creating a new record in itself. Keeping in line with the aforementioned achievements, the college is already on the way towards preparing for the upcoming youth festivals. The college youth festivals teams have been actively participating in the preparations after the selection and formations of the teams through the auditions wherein students participated actively. The college teams are enthusiastically making inroads for events like Theatre, Fine Arts and Literary including the participation of over 300 students. Special attraction was gathered by events such as Gidha, Bhangra, Folk Songs, Luddi, Poetry Recitation, Modelling, Installation and Flower arrangement. College Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra addressed and advised the students to keep up their efforts in the co-curricular activities in addition to their academics as they play an important role in the growth of an individual. He also inspired the students for making wholehearted efforts towards the upcoming cultural events. Incharges of the various teams namely, Prof. Sukhdev Singh Nagra, Dr. Surinder Mand, Dr. Harjinder Singh Sekhon, Prof. Palwinder Singh, Prof. Mansi Chopra, Prof. Gurjit Kaur, Prof. Gulzar Singh, Prof. Kritika Khanna and Prof. Gitanajali were also present.
