Lyallpur Khalsa College organized “A two day Creative Writing Workshop”

Jalandhar November 13 (Jaswinder Azad)- Post Graduate Department of Punjabi of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar, With the Collaboration of Punjab Sahit Academy Chandigarh, Organized the Second Day of ‘ A two day Creative Writing Workshop”. The Second day of the workshop was about how to create or develop an art of Drama in someone. In this creative workshop, Shri Kirti Kirpal was invited as the chief Guest and Shri Prem Sanehi for exchanging views on various issues. The Workshop was Headed by the worthy Principal of the College Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra. Head of the Post Graduate department of Punjabi, Dr. Gopal Singh Buttar Welcomed the teachers warmly and Principal Dr. G.S. Samra Welcomed the President of Punjab Sahit Academy Chandigarh, Dr. Sarabjit Kaur by presenting a bunch of flower. The Principal shared his experience about “The Creative writing Workshp” and said that such Kind of workshops were always fruitful for them and it gave positive results to their students. He suggested the Coordinator of the Workshop, Dr. Surinderpal Mand to Make the workshop more impressive and also requested to Punjab Sahit Academy to Support them Constantly. The Chief Guest of the Workshop, Shri Kirti Kirpal taught students about the techniques of Drama in deep and detailed way. Whereas, Shri Prem Sanehi talked about the creation and development of Drama and presented her valuable comments asked by students. In the Second session of the Workshop, A Poetry Session was held between teachers and students in which Shri Des Raj Kali (Writer of a famous Work Lakir) , Shri Jaspal Jirvi And Shri Harjinder Singh were present as a special guest. In this Poetry session, Both students and teachers presented their Poetry on Various topics. At the end of the Workshop, the coordinator of the Programme, Dr Surinderpal Mand thanked formally to all the visitors. Stage was handled by Prof. Kuldeep Singh Sodhi and on this occasion, Teachres from various Departments and the whole staff of Post Gradutae Punjabi Department were present over there.
