Lyallpur Khalsa College participated in a productive panel discussion concerning the theme of ‘Suicide Prevention’

Jalandhar October 11 (Jaswinder Azad)- Under the guidance of Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra, students of the Zoology and Botany Department of Lyallpur Khalsa College participated in a productive panel discussion concerning the theme of ‘Suicide Prevention’. The program named ‘Utshaah’ was conducted by the efforts of Punjab Agricultural University and was graced by Padam Shri Baba Sewa Singh Khadoor Sahib Waale as the chief guest. Dr. Davinderjit Singh, Former Director, Punjab Police Academy, Phillaur was the chief speaker on this occasion, which saw 13 panelists interact with students assembled from various educational institutes of the region whilst also putting forth various suggestions and solutions regarding the theme. Students from Lyallpur Khalsa College participated enthusiastically in the discussions and their skills were duly lauded by the personalities occupying the stage. Students were also awarded certificates for their participation in the program. College Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra encouraged the students to keep up their efforts for such programs and assured full support for the aforementioned cause. The program was also witnessed by Dr. Jaswinder Kaur, Head of the Department (Life Sciences), Dr. Gagandeep Kaur, Prof. Sarabjit Singh and Prof. Sukhpreet Kaur.
