Jalandhar October 10 (Gurkirat Singh)- Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi, Principal, KMV-the Heritage and Autonomous Institution was invited by the renowned Eotvos Lorand University, Budapest, Hungary to deliver expert talks on topics of colossal contemporary relevance and pertinence. She delivered a talk on “Psychosocial Pressures on Women and the Ameliorating Impact: the Indian Context” and the second was on the topic “Challenges of Indian Education System and its Global Perspective”. Along with students and faculty members, her talks were attended by officials from local administration, Deans from the University and other academia. As Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi is an authority on these areas her valuable inputs on these topics were highly benefitting for the recipients. Prof. Zsolt Demetrovics, Dean Faculty of Education and Psychology and Director Institute of Psychology, Eotvos Lorand University, Budapest expressed gratitude to Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi for having spared her valuable time for delivering incisive talks and maintained that her sagacious views will go a long way in helping the audience to forge ahead in their respective fields. It is worth a mention here that Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi has been an alumna of Harvard Institute of Higher Education, USA, and has also attended some Professional Development Programmes at Harvard University. Some being “Management and Leadership in Education” at Harvard Graduate School of Education and a project with Harvard University “Including Ourselves in the Change Equation: Personal Learning for Organizational Growth” and “Advancement Leadership in Higher Education”. She has also attended programs at National University of Educational Planning (NUEPA) and has also extensively travelled across the globe to other leading US Universities like Boston, Chatham, Lesley and Universities of China, Greece, UK et al. She has been invited from time to time to various renowned Universities in India and abroad to deliver invited talks on topics ranging from leadership, women empowerment to higher education. Over the years, she has been instrumental in organizing 8 International Conferences at KMV which have witnessed the presence of intelligentsia from around 15 nations each year. These Conferences have been appreciated by all intellectual circles for their exemplary contribution to the field of higher education and research. On her return Prof Atima Sharma Dwivedi was felicitated by the KMV faculty and students for her noteworthy contribution to the academic field.
